In fertility is a blot which smears society and affects 60% of the marriages in India at one point of time. It is seen that infertility affects both male and female sexes. 40% of females are affected while 40% of males are affected. It is important to note that in 20% of couples both parties will have a fertility problem in India. This medical problem is misunderstood and in 80% of the divorce cases is the cause of divorce, re-marriage and in some extreme cases death. Also infertility is treated by superstitious methods and couples resort to unfair practices such as abduction and ritual sacrifices.
